Top quality Hida wagyu is served here. Also excellent service.
When I called the day before to make a reservation, they very politely explained that ``the lunch reservation slots are full, but if you come around 10:50, you can have lunch without waiting.'' I'm already impressed at this point.
When we arrived at the store, the proprietress wearing a kimono welcomed us very warmly. The employees were also attentive and provided efficient service.
For lunch, I ate 200g of Sukiyaki Gozen. The taste is very satisfying. It was full of flavor and delicious. In addition to sukiyaki, it comes with salad, rice, miso soup, pickles, and chawanmushi, so you'll be full! I want to try Hitsumabushi Zen next time.

This is a restaurant specializing in Hida beef, which serves beef that is said to be the best type of Japanese beef. This is my second visit, and I made a reservation in advance and visited at 5:30pm on a weekend.
This time, I ordered the "(Matsu) Shabu Shabu 150g" course and an additional 150g of (Plum) meat.
Dip the beef that has been soaked in hot water into the sauce and stuff your cheeks all at once. (So delicious) The deliciousness of the beef spreads throughout your mouth. As expected, the Hida beef is perfectly marbled! It has a melt-in-the-mouth texture and is very delicious.
The additional beef (ume) I ordered had a lot of lean meat, but I was still able to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the beef.
This time I had a private room, so I was able to eat in a calm atmosphere without worrying about the people around me. Although the price is reasonable, I think you will be fully satisfied with the staff's customer service.

This is a return visit. This time, I made a reservation in advance and visited at 7:00 pm on a weekend.
This time, I ordered a set of ``Steak 200g'' and an additional ``Special Steak 100g''.
Meat is cut into bite-sized pieces and eaten while being grilled on a griddle. The bite size is large, so it has a lot of volume, and I think it's soft and delicious. The ``Special Steak'' allows you to enjoy the deliciousness of the marbled and melting fat, but a small amount is sufficient for people of all ages. Even a regular "steak" has a good balance of fat and lean meat, allowing you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of the meat. Personally, if you're going to eat a large portion, I think the leaner parts of the meat will be more delicious to the last bite.
I was lucky enough to get in without making a reservation. I received the lunch course. I had the steak set meal and my husband had the sukiyaki set steak. It was very delicious and I'm glad it wasn't too expensive. Although it was not a private room, it was comfortable. The sukiyaki seemed to be a little sweet, so it was a bit lean. So I gave it a 4. I also bought some souvenirs at the cash register.
I ate hitsumabushi for lunch. It was delicious. I was able to get refills of rice and condiments. However, it's a bit disappointing that the second helping of rice is white rice. Hitsumabushi with rice and sauce is delicious.
It was a private room and you couldn't see inside from the outside, so it was nice to be able to eat without worrying about those around you.
If you can find this place...it's the best.
Staff only speak Japanese, there's no English menu, they won't even try to speak or understand anything but Japanese, doesn't cater to tourists, only three beef dishes on the menu, no substitutions and nothing for vegetarians.
It's the quality beef place where locals go.
It was very delicious and I thought the quality of the meat was excellent! The service inside the restaurant was excellent and I felt very comfortable while eating!
I would like to go again!
I went there for lunch on a public holiday.
It said it would open at 11 a.m., so when I went there before 11 a.m., it was already full (maybe it was fully booked?)
The staff told me I couldn't get in until around 12:30, so I made a reservation and waited in my car.
There were cars waiting to park while I was waiting...it's a popular store.
I was contacted around 12:15 and entered the store.
I ordered a steak set (150g)
Refills of rice🆗
The meat was thick and tender and very delicious.
It was a private room with two tables, but the people sitting next to me were talking loudly, which made me feel a little less excited about eating (this is not the restaurant's fault).
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
I would like to come next time🌃🥩
